Okay...let me explain about my new blog...."the Crayon Profiler"....I was talking with a friend, discussing a new look for my blog and this is what I came up with....I was telling her a story of when I was a little girl and my favorite thing on earth was crayons....I loved every color, and being a lover of crayons, I loved the color RED....but it was such a dominate color and all the kids wanted to use it because they wanted to stand out....and so I felt sorry for the color PINK....it wasn't used as much ....so I chose to use the color PINK (the underdog color of crayons)....and what do I do today, I try to help the underdog's (those less fortunate than I am....I am not calling them dogs)....so I was telling my friend KIM, I bet I can tell a lot about a person by the color of crayons they used as a kid...thus "The Crayon Profiler"....the only thing I can't figure out yet is why I like black....I think it represents my strange sense of humor that is a little weird, according to some people

Another Hairy Day

I have to admit....I am so very proud of my mother pictured here with me on my left....that would be on your right, don't get us mixed up, she looks like she could be my sister.....She has worn her hair like this for years and years and we have always begged her to cut it and get it styled....instead, it was always perms and frost jobs....she has such thick hair and I cannot remember her wearing any other hairstyle other than this one....she saw my new hair cut and loved it so much and went for it....I was thinking to myself, yeah right, she will never go through with it....well, she made the appointment and not knowing what style I picked out with my hair dresser in Sulphur Springs, she picked out the same picture and went for it....she is always known for her big hair....in fact, this was the second picture that was taken of us because the first picture didn't get all of her hair in the picture.
I cannot believe how much younger, and more beautiful she looks after the cut....I took pictures from all sides....I was so proud of her and she absolutely loves it....I think she will keep it like this forever....I know that you can tell what a difference there is and how different she looks....AMAZING isn't it!!!

Glad your husband had such a nice birthday. Beautiful pictures of all the celebration of his special day! And how exciting that you'll be going to Italy soon.

I hope you and yours stay safe from Ike.
